Great round trail trough the forest at Bø., Little river, waterfall & lakes. first couple of hundred meters is on a atv track but you’ll soon turn left towards Dasneberget/Bø camping on a nice little single track. This brings you to the main road. there is a little sign with a map, just left of the map a new marked trail starts towards Trytetjønn – Høgfoss.

Lovely little mountain-area with a little bid of everything. I’ve see Reindeer on the plain between Roan & Hestekvævnuten and plenty of berries to pluck. Most of the route after Roan is unmarked & without trails but the terrain es quite good for running.

Gorgeous trail up the valley of Byrtedalen & back trough the stoney moon landscape along its southern slope. The trial takes you trough a stunning alpine valley with steep cliffs and waterfalls on both sides. It goes up from the lush plains in the lower parts all the way to a barren rocky landscape.

Even thou it’s mainly on trail-less ground its quite runable. High open areas with few trees make it easy to run. Typical Norwegian highland cottage scenery, steep valleys, old cabins and reindeer wandering about if your lucky.

Running on a little ridge just on the treeline, small gorges in between make for some fun up & down running. Route starts trough some normal forest along a little wide path. At about 1 km it becomes a proper single track.
