- Round trip
Well marked trail up onto the Brokefjell mountain plateau. It can be partially run as a round trip back past the lake of Heivatn giving a little different scenery on the way down.
You’ll pass trough forest and wetlands before the trees get thinner. Soon enough you’ll be running over large slabs of rock with open views over the forest, lakes and the other mountains around.
Well marked with red dots and lines, signposts on all crossings with other marked trails.
The first 2,5Km (the steep incline) is on a gravel road that slowly turns into a ATV track. After that mainly single track trails trough wetlands and over large slabs of rock all the way to the top. Easy to follow and good to run, bid wet trough the marshes here and there.
- Continuing on the mountains to the top of Manslagarnuten, adds about 6km without a marked trail.
Wetlands, Cultivated grounds, Forrest and open areas with large slabs of rock.
- Parking space for several cars at the school Kviteseid Gymnas. It’s the starting point, you’ll see a little sign with a map there as well.
